Fusion

Horizontal singularity / vertical singularity

Two distinct kinds of “one” named by the same word. Vertical: bodies stay separate, the will flows to a single point — the singularity of hegemony. Horizontal: the will stops, the bodies dissolve — the unity that fusion establishes.

— Physis: A Theory of Power — Concept Glossary

The definition is from the Concept Glossary of Physis: A Theory of Power; the book will be published on Zenodo in October 2026. The English wording is provisional until the official English glossary is published.
