Leader-based paradigm

Leader-Based Paradigm Hypothesis (name used in the articles)

The organization of the human species through a structure in which decision-making is gathered in a centre. It is not a choice but a structural consequence of the survival formula: surviving as a group requires cooperation, cooperation requires coordination, coordination requires a decision-making mechanism; as scale grows, consensus becomes harder.

— Physis: A Theory of Power — Concept Glossary

The definition is from the Concept Glossary of Physis: A Theory of Power; the book will be published on Zenodo in October 2026. The English wording is provisional until the official English glossary is published.
