Selfishness–selflessness spectrum
The ratio of allocation between the continuation of the individual (keep the energy for yourself) and the continuation of the species (give the energy to the whole). Not an axis of good and bad but a problem of balance between the two directions of the struggle against entropy; both draw on the same finite pool of time-energy.
