Present

This section is the application of how the Physis framework sees the present. The current paradigm — its phenomena, actors, strategic moves, discourse and interaction, technological developments — is examined through the perspective of the theory, and the resulting view is applied to current reality. The application is bidirectional: live data is translated into the framework; conversely, a concept or chapter of the theory is taken as a frame, and current reality is examined through that frame's questions. An article's use of historical material does not move it to the Past section: what decides is not which periods the text speaks of but which work it does. The evidence regime is the description of current reality through the eyes of the theory.
