Fusion
Fraternity
Not a virtue, a value or an ideology, but a hormonally based, scale-independent and necessarily temporary fusion mechanism, triggered where the ordinary state breaks down and a common act is shared. The term is used in two widths in the chapter, and the two are kept apart: in the narrow sense fraternity is the fusion itself (the state); in the broad sense the phenomenon of fraternity has three layers — the triggering frame, the fusion, and the carrying form.
