Resistance

Freedom

The degree to which a person can command the use of their own time and energy by their own will. Not a possession or a status but a graded gauge (0–100%). What it measures is not having a will — everyone's will is already complete; it measures whether that will can be used on one's own behalf.

— Physis: A Theory of Power — Concept Glossary

The definition is from the Concept Glossary of Physis: A Theory of Power; the book will be published on Zenodo in October 2026. The English wording is provisional until the official English glossary is published.
